Grant for Computers that will
Facilitate Youth and Volunteer Pairing
Dear Ms. Piccolo:
Big Brothers Big Sisters is honored to be selected as one of the organizations in which Bob Craig Youth Foundation continues to invest. Thank you for your recent contribution.
Foundation funds will be used to purchase two desktop computer and monitors for our office. Our mission is to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better, forever. While the mission is achieved largely through the efforts of volunteer mentors; the careful selection, matching and professional support we provide those mentors, the children and their families is what makes our programs so successful and sustaining.
For 2014, our goal is to match 700 children with a mentor and trusted advisor; your investment brings us one step closer to that goal. Thank you for starting something BIG in the life of a child.
Best Regards,

Grant for Educational Computers
Advancing Early Literacy
Dear Bob Craig Youth Foundation,
On behalf of all our customers between the ages of two to eight, I wish to thank you for funding our new AWE computer. It truly is awesome! It is very easy to use, reliable, and apparently difficult to destroy. Now our children will have a chance to begin to develop basic computer skills at an early age. You made that possible! We made a special sign recognizing your organization as the donor of this new early literacy station.
Your generous support of the library and its mission is very appreciated, You're enriching our community and helping us to provide a vital educational service. It was a pleasure working with you and I look forward to the possibility for more partnership ventures between our two organizations.
Sincerely,
Joy G. Hamsher

Grant for iPads
Autistic Support Classroom
Rebecca,
Where do I begin to say thank you for all of the help you have given me with my endeavor! Attached is a picture or the autistic support classroom with the iPads. Each student wrote, ‘Thank you’ on the iPad themselves. The young man on the left used the text to speech program to say thank you and as you can see he was listening to it at the same time. A formal thank you is on the way, but I couldn’t help but share this first. It is going to be a great addition to the classroom.
Many thanks,
Ann
Special Education Department, Red Land High School
Dear Bob Craig Youth Foundation Board Members,
Words cannot begin to express the gratitude at we at Red Land have for the generous gift that your charitable foundation provided our Autistic Support classroom. With so many other worthy causes needing assistance, I was humbled by the foundation’s choice to respond to my request for the grant needed to purchase equipment that would so greatly benefit the students with autism at Red Land.
With the current budget crisis affecting so many school districts, each and every gift donated to our public schools is precious. These contributions greatly enhance the educational opportunities provided to all students, particularly those who are physically or intellectually challenged.
Your endowment has greatly enhanced the world our autistic students live in, opening a door that assists them in better communicating with those around them. I would like to personally extend an invitation to those involved with the Bob Craig Youth Foundation to visit our Autistic Support Classroom to experience first hand the rewards of their kindness. I will be in contact with you to set up some visitation dates after the new year.
Once again, Red Land, and above all the Special Education Department, extends its profound appreciation to your foundation for its generosity. I look forward to working with the foundation in their future fundraising endeavors.
Sincerely,
Ann N. Dalby
